These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of kamdjouimmigration.ca (the "Site"), operated by the office of Dr. Alexis Noel Kamdjou, RCIC-IRB (Licence R1053678).
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, the Editorial Policy, and the Professional Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. You will not:
- access non-public areas of the Site or its underlying infrastructure without authorization;
- interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or networks;
- introduce malicious code, attempt to probe vulnerabilities, or scrape content at scale without prior written permission;
- use the Site to harass, defame, or send unsolicited commercial messages.
3. No legal advice
The content of this Site is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice, an admissibility assessment, a case evaluation, or a representation engagement. Reading the Site, contacting us through a form, or subscribing to the newsletter does not create a client relationship.
Professional services in Canadian immigration are rendered only under a written retainer agreement signed between you and Dr. Kamdjou. Pricing, scope, and limits are set out in that agreement.
4. Accuracy and updates
The office reviews Site content regularly (see Editorial Policy) and updates statutory references as the law changes. Despite that, statutory and regulatory rules can change without notice. The Site is provided "as is" and the office makes no representation, express or implied, as to fitness for a particular purpose.
5. Intellectual property
All text, layouts, graphics, logos, photographs, and original content on the Site are protected by copyright and applicable trademark law. They are the property of Dr. Alexis Noel Kamdjou or their respective licensors. You may view, download, and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference, provided you keep all copyright and proprietary notices intact.
Republication, redistribution, or commercial use of any Site content, in whole or in part, is prohibited without prior written permission.
6. Third-party links
The Site links to government and regulator pages (IRCC, CICC, IRB, OQLF, MIFI, others) for reference. Those external sites are operated by third parties; the office is not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability. A link to a third-party site is not an endorsement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will the office of Dr. Alexis Noel Kamdjou, its officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your access to or use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the office of Dr. Alexis Noel Kamdjou from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Site.
9. Governing law and forum
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable in Quebec, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms shall be brought exclusively before the competent courts of the judicial district of Gatineau, Quebec, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
10. Changes to these Terms
The office may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
