Content published on kamdjouimmigration.ca is governed by the policy below. It reflects our obligations under the Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants Code of Professional Ethics (College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants of Canada, 2019-001), and the accuracy standards that apply to any public communication from a regulated professional.

Who reviews the content

Every page published on this site is personally reviewed by Dr. Alexis Noel Kamdjou, RCIC-IRB (Licence R1053678) before it goes live. Each page carries a visible last-reviewed date and the reviewer's name. No page is published, amended, or re-published without that review step.

Day-to-day editorial work (research, first drafts, layout, source-checking) is carried out by the firm's editorial team. Under Article 6.3.1 of the Code of Ethics, Dr. Kamdjou remains responsible for published content regardless of who drafted it.

Review cadence

  • Service pages (Express Entry, Family Sponsorship, Study Permit, Visitor Visa, Citizenship): quarterly review, or immediately after any relevant legislative or regulatory change.
  • Foundational pages (about, editorial policy, professional notice, contact, legal notices): at minimum annual review, or whenever contact details, licensing status, or scope of practice change.
  • Blog posts and educational articles: dated at publication. Posts whose cited rules have since changed receive an "update required" banner or are retired.
  • Changes at IRCC, IRB, or CICC: trigger a targeted review of affected pages within 15 business days.

Sources cited

Only primary sources are cited on this site:

  • Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC): official texts, operational guidelines, forms, program pages.
  • College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants of Canada (CICC): Act SC 2019 c.29, Code of Ethics 2019-001, by-laws, public register.
  • Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Regulations (IRPR).
  • Citizenship Act.
  • Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms (where relevant).
  • Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB): procedural rules, published decisions.
  • Office québécois de la langue française (OQLF) and Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration (MIFI) for Quebec-specific rules.

Blogs, forums, news aggregators, and publications from other firms are not cited as authority. Outbound links to government sites are provided for reference only, without reciprocal endorsement.

Correction policy

If a factual error, outdated citation, or misleading phrasing is identified:

  1. Flagging: by email to [email protected] with the page URL, the passage, and the suggested correction. Internal flags (editorial team, Dr. Kamdjou) and external flags (readers, peers, the regulator) follow the same process.
  2. Acknowledgement: within 2 business days.
  3. Analysis and correction: within 10 business days for a straightforward error, up to 30 business days for questions requiring extended statutory research.
  4. Logging: each correction is recorded (flag date, correction date, nature of the error, page affected) in an internal register kept by Dr. Kamdjou.
  5. Correction notice: a dated footnote is added at the bottom of the corrected page when the change alters the meaning of the original text. Purely typographical fixes do not generate a notice.

Editorial independence

This site does not carry sponsored content, affiliate posts, paid placements, or paid links. Where third-party tools or government resources are mentioned, the mention is informational only, with no reciprocal compensation arrangement.

Links to government sites (IRCC, CICC, IRB, OQLF, MIFI) are provided to make official texts accessible. Content hosted on those sites is not the property of Dr. Kamdjou and may change without notice.

No AI-generated content is published without human review by a named author and by Dr. Kamdjou. No fictitious testimonials, portraits, or client scenarios are published.
